My household includes multiple grandchildren ranging in age from 16-2. I ordered this Play-Doh set for the 4 year old, thinking it was perfect for him. Surprise! Almost all of the kids were gathered around the table turning out treats!
This is one of the best sets that we have had. It was simple to put together. As a matter of fact, the 10 year old assembled it. There are three different towers that help kids create pretty realistic ice cream creations. There are molds all over the towers to create things like fruits and gingerbread cookies.
The soft serve machine actually works very well. The handle is easy to press which makes it great for the youngest kids who are sometimes frustrated by the amount of force required by other extruders.
The Ice Cream Castle set comes with six small cans of Play-Doh, including fun confetti ones. It also includes adorable little ice cream serving bowls and spoons, a favorite of my kids.
This Play-Doh set is perfect for kids in a wide variety of ages and a great set to stash at Gramma's house!

We LOVE the Play-Doh Ice Cream Castle! The Play-Doh Ice Cream Castle comes with four colored Play-doh cans (the smaller cans, not the bigger ones you get when you buy in store) and two "sprinkles" Play-doh cans for soft serve play.
The playset is a breeze to put together and every inch of the playset is covered with molds to press Play-doh into for fun shapes and accessories for the Ice Cream Castle! There are so many tidbits that comes with the playset - rollers, cones, cups, spoons and some shapes for the big center press. The two cones on the side are great for making soft serve looking cones and the other is used for making sprinkles!
The only thing we didn't like so much was the sprinkle maker - it's super messy because it makes such small pieces that seem to go EVERYWHERE. That said, the little one absolutely LOVES that particular feature - probably because it makes tiny ltlle sprinkles that go everywhere. What can you do... :)

My daughter is 5 and loves play-doh and all things related to arts and crafts or using her imagination to make things. So when I saw this ice cream play set I decided to get it for her. Assembly was quick and easy with very few pieces that snapped together with minimal effort. There are 3 stations one that makes sprinkles that is really neat, one that is just a whipped cream shaped extruder, and then one that has several interchangeable shapes to make the soft serve ice cream.
Theread are also tons of fun molds with thinks like cookies, candy, fruit, and doughnuts positioned all over the play set. Then there are cones and bowls that fit under the different stations to fill, spoons, and several small containers of play-doh including 2 with sprinkle looking colors in them which my daughter really liked. I would recommend this to anyone with kids that love pretending they are making things or into play-doh because it's pretty fun and not too hard to put together or use.

My kids love this! I was actually able to let all 3 play with it at the same time and they shared very well (they are 5 & 3.5-yr-old twins). Lots of little things to do to make all kinds of creations. It comes with a few different little containers of Play-Doh that will keep the kids busy for a while. Plenty of imagination going on here.
As per the usual Play-Doh toys, Play-Doh gets stuck in small spaces all over the place. I used a toothpick to clean out some of the little places to make sure that it didn't dry out in those spot and cause problems later. So, there is a little more work to cleanup than with some of the other basic toys.
Overall, another winner from Play-Doh that the kids love and begged to play with when they saw it.
