Cute, has some flaws
By Nicole

My kids love this set. You can get really creative with all the accessories. It does take a LOT of Play Doh to stuff in the frosting squirter before it comes out though. And the cake mold (on the right, with the flip top) is impossible to get out. One side of the cake always ends up smushed. Otherwise, it's a fun set.

5-year old likes it a lot
By L. Bartlett

If your child likes play doh, then she'll probably like this. The part that "squirts" frosting should be higher. If it was, I'd give it a full 4 stars. The molds are a bit hard for little ones to use, but with some practice and guidance they should be OK. Overall, my "just turned" 5-year old really likes this set. TIP: Buy the party pack of small play doh cans. Much more efficient and you can change it out more frequently when it gets dried out.

For boys too!

Bought this as a gift for a friend's daughter, she already had it so amazon told us to keep it when I tried to return it. It has been so much fun for my 3.5 year old. To me this packaging makes the product seem girly, but it truly is a unisex toy that is great for all ages...expect under 3 of course. We sat for at least half an hour making cakes and squishing the dough into whatever our heart's desired.

Having so much fun with Play-Doh
By Benjamin

The Play-Doh Cake Party is famous at our birthday party! This is a great gift for any child who loves to create and build things. It comes with a lot of fun cut out shapes and supplies to decorate a cake/cupcake. We definitely had a lot of fun making a cake and all sorts of shapes. It is ideal for children 3 and older since the little ones might want to eat it. Kids approve!

Great kit, squeeze tool a little tough for little ones
By Lon J. Seidman

First of all it's Play-Doh - you know what you're getting :).

One of the fun things being the almost 40 something father of a 3 year old is that I can play with the stuff I used to play with as a kid. And of course Play-Doh was one of my favorites. Now that we live in the future we have Play-Doh injected with a confetti-like substance but by and large it's the same stuff but in smaller more expensive containers :).

My 3 year old and I played with this kit last night. She loves Play-Doh so was naturally drawn to this one. She enjoyed making a layered "cake" with me and especially liked the squeeze tool. But it was tough for her to use given the force required to operate so I think parents of little kids will likely be playing with play-doh too :). It's the most interesting part of the kit and probably the hardest for little ones to operate. I'm also nervous about having older stronger kids using the squeezer in its plastic base as I'm not sure how much weight it can handle.

There are dozens of little molds in this kit for making decorations, etc. It is a little challenging getting the play-doh to stay in shape when pulling it out of the molds. It works better with fresh out of the can vs. some that's beginning to dry out.

All in this is a fun play set. Probably better for older kids for single play but a fun way for parents to connect with their littler ones.

Another fun set with cool confetti play-doh jars

Another hit from Play-Doh - this one lets you make your own toy "cakes", with all sorts of cool tools for making cakes, decorating, carving, and frosting. You can play "tea party" with the plate, knife, and fork, or just use those to help you sculpt all sorts of things. As with most Play-Doh sets, it's a good idea to augment it with a few extra tubs, but the ones that come with it are good to start. The confetti play-doh is cool looking and my daughter enjoyed it as well.

LOVE IT

Daughter loves this item. It really helped during a trip that we had where it was rainy for a few days and she couldn't go outside and play.
